Art Workshops in Beautiful Destinations
I started travel sketching in 2015, coinciding with when I start making regenerative meat and working with Canada de la Virgen. Sketching became my meditation, and one of my most favorite things is to be in a new city, and spending some time on my own, sketching the sights and adventures in my always-handy sketchbook. When I would return to San Miguel, friends would say, “I want to go with you!” And so Art Leap Adventures was created, and art workshops in beautiful Mexican destinations was created.
I’m an Urban Sketcher, one of the admins of our local San Miguel de Allende Urban Sketchers Regional Chapter, and I also teach travel sketching through Airbnb Experiences. With Art Leap Adventures, I organize and offer traveling art workshops, as well as art workshops based in San Miguel de Allende, for those seeing a more adventurous artful experience. I partner with amazing instructors and also lead groups on travel sketching adventures to Mexico City Centro, Mexico City Roma, Oaxaca, Guanajuato, with more cities to be added. Locally in San Miguel de Allende, I’ve added Watercolor and Paper Mache workshops, to great response from the local community.
I’m looking to the 2019-2020 season to expand my horizons and partner with more top-notch instructors, and create amazing Mexican art-filled agendas! Contact me if you’re an instructor looking to bring your groups to Mexico.
